Two sack trolleys have been stolen from a locked compound at the Cricket Club, a second incident this summer.

At 10p.m. Sunday 11th August 2024 two intruders entered a locked compound at Gresford Cricket Club and removed two new sack trolleys used to transport flexible cricket mats. The trucks are two wheeled, bright red in colour and have orange luggage straps attached to secure items to the trolleys.

If someone you know has suddenly 'acquired' a new sack trolley or you have any information about the theft of these items please get in touch, this can be done anonymously.

This is the second time that the Club has been targeted this summer, firstly by young vandals damaging the covers and now by thieves stealing equipment used for the benefit of over a hundred young children in our community. The Club is run by volunteers and such incidents leave a deep scar. The Police have been informed.

Any information can be passed via the Gresford Cricket Club.com website or anonymously at Crimestoppers-uk.org or 0800 555 111
